Costa Rica Facility

Back in the early 1990's, GWW GROUP saw the need to have a second production facility in an offshore location. Various options were considered, before a final decision was made to pick Costa Rica. This country offered a series of advantages:

Skilled and motivated workforce, English language knowledge, geographical proximity / same time zone to North American market, stable political environment and availability of certain key raw materials.

The Costa Rica facility started operations in 1995 with limited staff and production capacities. Over the years the production capabilities of this facility expanded significantly. To the point that in 2002 a decision was made to consolidate all GWW GROUP production at this facility. Currently this location has a total staff of 65, which in addition to being responsible for all manufacturing, also look after most Administrative and Logistics functions for the GWW GROUP.
